The commemoration of the National Day of the Republic of Armenia was held at Niavaran Cultural Historical Complex, organized by the Embassy of the Republic of Armenia in the Islamic Republic of Iran, in cooperation with Niavaran Complex. The event took place on October 13 and was attended by Grigor Hakobian, Ambassador of Armenia to Iran; Seyed Hamid Pourmohammadi, Vice President and Head of Plan and Budget Organization of Iran; senior government officials; diplomats; Iranian cultural and social figures; members of the Assembly of Representatives and “The Armenian Prelacy of Tehran”; as well as hundreds of members of the Armenian community in Iran.

The ceremony, held on the occasion of the 34th anniversary of Armenia’s independence, featured speeches by the Ambassador of Armenia to Iran, the Vice President and Head of Plan and Budget Organization, and the Secretary General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia.
