On the northern side of Niavaran Palace, there is a hall called the "Blue Hall" with an area of 350 square meters, which was prepared during the Pahlavi II era to receive court guests. The name "Blue Hall" was given to it because of the beautiful water feature in front of the hall and the blue color of the walls and curtains. Among the most important parties held in the Blue Hall is the New Year's Eve party in 1978 (1356 AH) attended by former US President "Jimmy Carter".
Shortly before the Islamic Revolution, its decoration and equipment were being changed, but with the victory of the revolution, the project was stopped. Therefore, this space is currently used to hold periodic exhibitions and cultural meetings.
