About the project:

The 360° virtual tour of the Niavaran Cultural and Historical Complex has been produced with the aim of making it accessible to everyone and creating an opportunity to better introduce its various historical, architectural, artistic and natural dimensions.

With its iconic buildings and rich repositories, diverse and different architecture from the two historical periods of Qajar and Pahlavi, and a history of nearly two centuries, this complex seeks to be better introduced without spatial and temporal limitations in order to showcase its rich assets, capacities and tourism attractions in a virtual space to a larger number of audiences from all over the world by utilizing modern methods.

The idea of launching a virtual tour of the Niavaran complex was formed in line with the macro policies of the Ministry of Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts and in line with the world's leading museums. The unique approach in this project, which makes it different from similar projects, is the narration of historical events from the Qajar to the Pahlavi dynasties and the provision of complete information about all historical monuments and their iconic objects in more than 360 panoramic photos, which has made it one of the most extensive and content-rich virtual tours among museums in the country.

Also, in this tour, tourists can gain virtual access, without visual limitations, to all spaces that cannot be visited in person due to technical and structural reasons of the museums.

This approach provides a different experience of visiting this complex for the virtual visitor, so that he can understand its various dimensions by viewing 360-degree photos with peace and precision from every corner of this complex.

The possibility of displaying different situations of a place and establishing interaction with the viewer is another attraction of this project. Features of this virtual interactive tour include the ability to open and close the main doors of the complex, change the screen and lighting of the dedicated cinema hall, open and close the movable roof of the dedicated museum palace lobby, etc.

The tour was documented in the spring and summer of 1401 AH, and the possibility of expansion and upgrading has been considered. We hope that with the cooperation and support of the Ministry of Cultural Heritage and the management of this complex, the goal of this tour, which is scientific-research productivity and the introduction of tourism goals, will be achieved.
